Teal Optical in postproduction

Starting early July, “Teal Optical” (the short narrative shot in March 08) will begin the editing and post production process in Jackson, MS.  In post production we will not only edit the raw footage to organize the story, but create an entire set of sound effects that will be added to the film (Foley Artist: Daniel Guaqueta).  Also we will have to create a number of animations, both traditionally by stop motion as well as special computer generated graphics).  Check the site here or at www.tealoptical.com to keep track.  Expect a release of the film to be about 20+ minutes and a premiere party in the Fall 2008.

Hopefully we will have screenings around the Southeast US as well as various film festivals.

Today was day 2 for the “Eutrophication” shoot. Daniel, Morgan, and myself shot in the woods and down by the disgusting Pearl river… what could’ve been a better place to express the concept of eutrophication in Jackson? Earlier in the afternoon Austin helped out while we shot downtown and along Riverside Dr. Early May will bring the vid.
