Joint Screening of “The Butterflies” & “Teal Optical” May 1st

“Teal Optical” directed by Clay Hardwick and “The Butterflies” directed by Winsor Yuan
The Amp will also be having live music and wine tasting.

Teal Optical in postproduction
Starting early July, “Teal Optical” (the short narrative shot in March 08) will begin the editing and post production process in Jackson, MS. In post production we will not only edit the raw footage to organize the story, but create an entire set of sound effects that will be added to the film (Foley Artist: Daniel Guaqueta). Also we will have to create a number of animations, both traditionally by stop motion as well as special computer generated graphics). Check the site here or at www.tealoptical.com to keep track. Expect a release of the film to be about 20+ minutes and a premiere party in the Fall 2008.
Hopefully we will have screenings around the Southeast US as well as various film festivals.

Teal Optical [update]
Shooting has finished for Teal Optical. The footage looks amazing and we will begin editing and creating the sounds, graphics, and promotional material in July. The short film should run anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes and will be released in Fall 2008. We will have a premiere party / screening and will hopefully travel the film around the south as well as run it in festivals until something else happens or picks up. Email clay@echomech.com with any questions on the status of the film for the time being. We will post more when editing begins.
